# Manually Split Intervals

* Alternatively, the **'**[**Measurements**](https://docs.phoenixlidar.com/lidarmill-desktop/user-interface/windows/measurements-window)**'** window **"**[**POS**](https://docs.phoenixlidar.com/lidarmill-desktop/user-interface/windows/measurements-window/position)**"** button can be used to manually specify the beginning and end of any number of individual 'flightlines'.
* Within the measurements window, click the "Clear" button if there are existing measurements.
* Once cleared, Click "POS" , then proceed to left click on the start and end of each desired interval.

* Click on "Intervals" within the "Project" window and then click on the eye dropper icon at the bottom left to create intervals from measurements. &#x20;

* Specify a name for the Interval list (Example: Manually Split Intervals) and click "OK"&#x20;
* Click on the specified interval list name to visualize intervals
