# Load a Rover Profile

In versions of SpatialExplorer 4.0 and above, you can load the rover configuration from the rover’s internal storage as a profile.

In the bottom left of the **Rover Settings** window, there is a profile selection dropdown. Note that factory profile (marked in bold) cannot be updated by the user.

Confirm loading of the profile and remember to restart rover and SpatialExplorer to complete the configuration.

Before closing the Rover Settings window, make sure to select the “**Save Settings & Close**” button. Furthermore, make sure to shut down rover (using the Shutdown Rover button) and restart SpatialExplorer to apply the updated values and parameters to the rover configuration.
